A geologist with almost 30 years' global experience discovering and commercialising mineral assets — a PhD in Economic Geology with postgraduate finance and economics qualifications, FAusIMM(CP) and FSEG. A rare blend of technical and commercial experience across the mining life cycle: Chris led the team behind the now-3.7 Moz Kurmuk gold discovery in Western Ethiopia, and brings a strong exploration background across Australia and Papua New Guinea, where Ellenkay is focusing its ambitions.
A mining engineer (Bachelor of Mining Engineering, Honours, UNSW). Ken serves as President Commissioner (Chairman) of PT Archi Indonesia Tbk, an Indonesia Stock Exchange–listed gold miner, and provides ADMOG Gold with technical expertise, directing the acquisition of highly prospective greenfields gold licences. Critically for Ellenkay's PNG ambitions, he brings direct PNG gold operating experience — as Head of Operations at Newcrest Mining's Lihir gold mine, following an earlier senior mining and engineering role at Lihir.
